Who is Let's Get Lit Supply for?

Let's Get Lit Supply is a professional Christmas light supply shop built for installers, crews, and serious holiday lighting businesses. We stock commercial-grade C9/C7 bulbs, socket cord, clips, mini strands, starter packs, and accessories, with Midlothian, TX pickup and nationwide shipping. Homeowners running a small DIY project can shop too, but our catalog and support are installer-first.

What are your store hours?

Do you only sell in Texas?

No. We supply installers nationwide while supporting local DFW crews with Midlothian pickup. Shop online for shipping, or call to arrange local pickup when you're in the Midlothian / DFW area.

I'm new to Christmas light installation. Where should I start?

Start with a Starter Pack (bulbs, cord, clips, and essentials in one kit) and our free Installer Resources (job intake sample, quote template, bulb calculator). If you want hands-on coaching, book Christmas Light Installation Training 2026.

What's the difference between a starter pack and buying pieces separately?

A starter pack bundles the core gear so you don't guess what to order for your first season. Buying separately is better once you know your preferred bulb line, spacing, and clip mix.

Do you offer permanent lighting too?

Yes. We carry permanent / architectural options (including Omni lines) and a permanent lighting quote request form. Seasonal C9/C7 supply remains our core installer offering; permanent projects are quoted with the team.

Products / specs

What are Tuff Bulbs?

Tuff Bulbs are commercial-grade C9 LED retrofit bulbs from the makers of the Tuff Clip, built for pro crews who need durable, vibrant color season after season. Highlights include a polycarbonate faceted lens, copper base with nickel coating, dimmable operation, UL 588 listing, roughly ~30 lumens / ~0.72W per bulb, and standard E17 / C9 socket fit.

Do you carry other C9 bulb lines besides Tuff?

Yes. In addition to Tuff, we stock C9 lines such as Minleon V2, Big & Bright, Minleon Twinkle, and Minleon V1, plus C7 / G40 options.

C7 vs C9: which should installers use?

C9s are the larger, bolder outline bulb most pro roof and commercial displays use; C7s are smaller and often used for classic or tighter detail work. Choose based on scale, client look, and socket system, not one size fits all.

What is Convex 70L?

Convex 70L is our 70-light convex-dome mini light collection for trees, bushes, and accent work. The storefront title is Convex 70L, while the collection handle is /collections/concave-70l. We also carry Minleon and Big & Bright mini options in the nav.

What clips do you recommend for pro installs?

Use purpose-built clips matched to the surface (shingle, gutter, ridge, parapet, etc.) so installs stay consistent and roofs stay protected. Our Clips collection includes Tuff Clip styles (e.g. Wedge / Flex), Best Clip, Minleon V2+, and specialty Canny / ridge / parapet options. High-level tip only: follow manufacturer guidance and local codes.

What is SPT-1 socket cord, and is that what you stock?

Yes. SPT-1 is what we sell for commercial custom-cut Christmas light runs. Match plugs and accessories to the same SPT type.

Can I cut socket cord to custom lengths?

Yes. That's how pro crews get clean rooflines: measure the run, cut cord to fit, and terminate with the correct matching plugs/caps. Keep polarity and outdoor weather practices consistent, and follow product ratings plus local electrical codes.

Are your C9 LEDs dimmable / UL listed?

Tuff Bulb product copy states they are dimmable and UL 588 listed. Always confirm the listing and dimmer compatibility on the specific SKU you order, since lines can differ.

Do you sell timers, photocells, and accessories?

Yes. Accessories such as photocell and mechanical timers, plugs, stakes, and install add-ons are part of the catalog. Use outdoor-rated devices and GFCI-protected outlets for outdoor displays. High-level safety reminder only, not installation instructions.

Do you sell greenery and bows?

Yes. Commercial greenery, wreaths, garlands, and bows are available for full-display installs.

Ordering / wholesale

Do I need a wholesale account to order?

Is there a minimum order?

No. There is no minimum order required. Many SKUs sell in bags or cases (for example Tuff Bulb pack sizes), so check the product page for how that item ships.

How do case / bag quantities work on bulbs?

Bulbs are commonly offered in installer-friendly pack sizes (for example, Tuff Bulbs list bag and case variants on PDPs). Order the pack size that matches your season volume so you don't run out mid-route.

Can I get help building a first-season order list?

Yes. Call 972-217-8855 or use Contact, and start from a Starter Pack if you want a proven kit. Free tools on Resources help with quoting and bulb counts.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept card, ACH, and Shop Pay (and whatever else Shopify Checkout shows at purchase).

Install tips (high-level only)

What's the pro approach to a clean roofline?

Measure first, cut socket cord to the house (don't make do with coiled excess), use consistent clip types for the surface, and test sections as you go. Keep connections weather-aware and use outdoor-rated components. For deeper training, join a 2026 Training date. We don't publish DIY electrical how-tos; hire a qualified electrician when circuits, panels, or code work are involved.

How do I estimate how many bulbs I need?

Use linear footage times spacing. Our free Bulb Calculator at 15" Spacing helps when you're on 15" socket spacing; other spacings scale from the same footage math. Add spare bulbs for breakage and mid-season service.

Shingles vs gutters: does clip choice matter?

Yes. The wrong clip slows crews and can damage surfaces. Match clip style to the mounting surface and bulb/cord system; browse options in Clips (Best Clip, Tuff Clip styles, gutter/ridge/parapet specialties, etc.).

Any high-level outdoor electrical safety reminders?

Use outdoor-rated products as intended, plug into GFCI-protected outlets where required, respect product and circuit ratings, and don't create unsafe DIY splices. For complex electrical work, use a licensed electrician and follow local codes / NEC. This FAQ is product/supply guidance, not an installation manual.

Can I pick up orders in Midlothian?

Yes. Pickup is available at 1011 John Clark Rd, Suite 200, Midlothian, TX 76065. Store hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM; Sunday by appointment only. Do you ship nationwide?

Yes. We ship nationwide in addition to Midlothian pickup.

How is shipping calculated?

Shipping is calculated at checkout.

How fast do orders ship?

In-stock orders ship same-day when placed before noon.

What is your return policy?

Unused items in original packaging may be returned within 30 days of receipt. No returns are accepted after November 16, no matter when the item was purchased. Return shipping is paid by the customer. Email info@LetsGetLitSupply.com to start a return.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Send photos plus your order number ASAP to info@LetsGetLitSupply.com or call 972-217-8855. Damage claims must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.

What's included in training?

In-person training covers business setup (web/GBP/marketing), sales/quoting, and install fundamentals (ladder safety, equipment, clean installs, troubleshooting), with season-long text/phone support from Let's Get Lit Supply. Virtual covers core material with a live Q&A but without the full hands-on ladder room experience.

Do starter packs include training seats?

Yes. All 1000ft starter packs include 2 free tickets to trainings.

What free installer resources do you provide?

Free tools include a sample Jobber intake form, working quote template, and bulb calculator, all linked from Free Installer Resources. Lighting tips also appear in our Christmas Light Resources blog.
